Objectives

The course will aim to develop the delegate's competence in a range of practical machining skills and acquire associated knowledge in machine terminology.

The course will enable to delegate to build the knowledge and skills required to:

1. Use machines safely

2. Carry out basic conventional milling work utilising suitable techniques on a Bridgeport mill to produce single and batch components.

Requirements

Some previous engineering experience would be an advantage.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COURSE WILL BE CANCELLED AND RESCHEDULED IF NO UPTAKE IS RECEIVED UP TO 14 DAYS PRIOR TO THE COURSE START DATE.

ALSO NOTE THAT IN THE EVENT OF ANY DELEGATES NOT TURNING UP ON THE DAY, UNLESS WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED PRIOR TO THIS, YOU MAY BE CHARGED 30% OF THE COURSE FEES FOR COSTS INCURRED.
