Objectives

By the end of this course delegates will have the skill and knowledge of:

1) Health & Safety:

- Electricity at Work Regulations
- Safe Electrical Working Practices
- Safe use of Electrical Test Equipment


2) 3 Phase Motor Control:

Understand the operation of and wire circuits for -

- Direct on Line Starter
- Forward and Reverse Starter
- Star/Delta Starter


3) Fault Finding on Control Circuits:

Including -

- Fault Finding Techniques
- Control Circuits
- Relays
- Contactors
- Timers

Requirements

Have some experience in safe electrical working practices, safe use of test equipment and Isolation procedures.
