Requirements

The course is intended for practicing electricians with relevant experience, however it is open to anyone working in an electrical environment who need to enhance their understanding of the regulations.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COURSE WILL BE CANCELLED AND RESCHEDULED IF NO UPTAKE IS RECEIVED UP TO 14 DAYS PRIOR TO THE COURSE START DATE.

ALSO NOTE THAT IN THE EVENT OF ANY DELEGATES NOT TURNING UP ON THE DAY, UNLESS WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED PRIOR TO THIS, YOU MAY BE CHARGED 30% OF THE COURSE FEES FOR COSTS INCURRED.

Notes

1. Succesful candidates will achieve a Level 3 Award in the Requirements Electrical Installations BS 7671: 2018 2382-22

2. Each candidate is supplied a copy of the IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Blue Book) for the course and for the examination. The cost of this book (£85) which is included in the course cost.

3. A non programmable calculator and a highlighter pen with highlighter tabs are required by each candidate.

4. The course examination is a 2 hour multiple choice, open book PC based exam which allows instant results. Exams are available between 0830-1330 and are normally arranged for the following week.

5. Exam Re-sits. For candidates who have taken this course with EKGTA the cost of a re-sit is £75
