HOW TO BECOME A MODERN APPRENTICE

We have laid out the steps involved in applying for a modern apprenticeship through EKGTA below.
Step 1
To get started, all you need to do is click on the "apply now" button and fill out our short online application form. If you have an updated CV, get it ready to upload. Also, make sure to include your most recent qualifications. We're excited to have you apply!
Step 2
Once we have had a look over your application, we may invite you to take an aptitude test to assess your skills in perception, numeracy, technical skills, and physics. Your score in each will help us get a better picture of you, allowing us to connect you with the most suitable opportunities.
Step 3
Once you have successfully completed the aptitude test, we’ll normally ask you to attend a short one-to-one interview online with one of our training advisors. Here we can find out more about you, what opportunities you are looking for, and give you the opportunity to find out more about us!
Step 4
Now that we have gotten to know you better, we will connect successful candidates with some of best employers in the industry who may invite you in to interview directly. Nervous? Don’t panic! We have a handy article to help you prepare.
Step 5
Been offered and accepted a modern apprenticeship? We’ll send joining instructions in advance of your start-date, but you’ll typically spend your first year here at EKGTA learning basic practical and academic skills. Then you’ll spend the next three years learning on the job. We’ll check in regularly to make sure everything is going well!
