This course is intended for anyone required to use abrasive wheels as part of their work, including those involved in grinding, cutting, or finishing operations that is looking for a refresher of their knowledge.

Please note that this course may be cancelled and rescheduled if no uptake is received up to 14 days prior to the course start date.
A cancellation fee of 30% will be charged for cancellations within 24 hours of the course date. Failure to attend without notice will result in a full charge.

This course provides both theoretical knowledge and practical instruction, including:
Hazards and risks associated with abrasive wheels
Legal requirements and employer responsibilities
Identification and marking of abrasive wheels
Safe storage, handling, and transport
Inspection and testing of abrasive wheels
Components such as flanges, blotters, bushes, and nuts
Correct mounting and balancing of wheels
Dressing of abrasive wheels
Adjustment of work rests on bench and pedestal grinders
Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
