At EKGTA we can tailor our Modern Apprenticeships to the specific requirements of your company while following the nationally recognised training pathways. This enables us to attract and develop the best suited candidates for you. 

Completing a Modern Apprenticeship at EKGTA typically takes around four years. During the initial 9 months to a year, most candidates attend our purpose-built training facility located in East Kilbride. However, we can consider alternative arrangements if necessary. Apprentices will complete an SVQ in Performing Engineering Options at SCQF Level 5 alongside an NC or HNC in your chosen discipline. They will then go on to complete an SCVQ at SCQF Level 6 in an engineering discipline best suited to your requirements.

•  Receiving applications directly on our website and processing those handed directly to company.
• Testing the basic skills of your candidates by using our purpose-built aptitude assessment.
• Conducting first screening interviews and provide feedback to the company.
• Providing you with a shortlist of candidates ready for you to interview.
• Assisting with the management of in-company interviews.
• Assisting with completing all the necessary paperwork.
• Sourcing grant funding from Skills Development Scotland (SDS).
